Training starts with what people need to do differently afterwards.

I design live training and workshops around the team, its current level and the situations people actually face at work — not around the number of slides I can fit into a day.

The topic matters. The context matters just as much.

Two teams can both ask for “Power BI training” and need completely different things. One needs stronger modelling foundations. Another needs better DAX judgement. A third knows the tool well but struggles with requirements, governance or the way work moves through the team.

Before I design the session, I want to understand what people are already doing, where they lose time and what better performance would look like after the training.

Technical depth, practical judgement and the way people work.

POWER BI

Build better analytical solutions

  • Power Query and data preparation
  • Data modelling and relationships
  • DAX and calculation design
  • Semantic models and performance
  • Report design and storytelling
  • Power BI Service and lifecycle
MICROSOFT FABRIC

Understand the platform you are building on

  • Lakehouse and Warehouse
  • Dataflows Gen2
  • Pipelines and orchestration
  • Notebooks
  • Direct Lake and semantic models
  • Architecture and capacity thinking
AI & COPILOT

Use AI as part of real work

  • AI for analysts and BI developers
  • Copilot in Power BI and Fabric
  • Prompting with useful context
  • AI-assisted development
  • Verification and human oversight
  • Practical AI governance
WAYS OF WORKING

Improve what happens around the tool

  • Requirements and discovery
  • Ask Before You Build
  • Self-service BI
  • DataOps practices
  • Testing and documentation
  • Team standards and governance

Three questions come before the agenda.

01

What should people be able to do differently afterwards?

02

Where are they struggling today?

03

How will we know the training helped?

Choose the depth the team actually needs.

3–6 HOURS

Focused workshop

One problem, one capability or one decision area. Useful when the team needs a concentrated intervention rather than a broad course.

1 DAY

Full-day training

A structured topic with enough space for explanation, demonstrations, questions and practical exercises.

2–3 DAYS

Team bootcamp

Deeper capability building across connected topics, with time to practise rather than only absorb information.

MULTI-SESSION

Training programme

Learning spread over several sessions so people can apply ideas between meetings and return with real questions.

LEARN → APPLY → RETURN

Training + office hours

The team learns, applies the material in real work and comes back with the problems that only appear after practice begins.

Training should survive contact with Monday morning.

  • Pre-training discoveryto understand level, context and recurring problems
  • Tailored agendabuilt around the capability you actually want to develop
  • Hands-on workwith realistic examples and exercises
  • Reusable materialsparticipants can return to after the session
  • Post-training recommendationswhere further practice or support would create the most value

I can help you turn that into the right learning format.

You do not need to arrive with a finished agenda. Tell me who the participants are, what they work with today and what you would like them to handle better afterwards.

Discuss team training

Send me a message.

You do not need a polished brief. Whether the topic is Power BI, Fabric, AI, team training, mentoring, coaching or simply a challenge that needs untangling, leave a few details and we can start from there.

SIGNALMESSAGECONVERSATION

AI & TRANSPARENCY

AI supports selected parts of my work — it does not replace my judgement, responsibility or relationship with the client.

I use AI tools for tasks such as research, organising information, structuring content and preparing materials. I treat AI as support for my work — not as an autonomous author or decision-maker. Anything I publish or use professionally remains my responsibility.

In coaching, I do not use AI to automatically assess, diagnose or make decisions about a client. AI does not replace attention, confidentiality or human responsibility for the coaching relationship.

AI may support the process. Human responsibility remains.
